2023 – Universal Year 7

Happy New Year! 🎉 You made it through 2022, just in time to ask yourself, what will 2023 bring?

There are so many ways to set the tone for a new year. You may be a fan of picking a theme word for the year or creating a list of resolutions. Or your approach is more organic, like meditating, writing in your journal, or carving out some alone time to have a conversation with yourself (It’s not weird, I talk to myself all the time!). 

Whatever your approach—and I welcome them all—starting a new year with intention will bring hope, curiosity, thoughts of what’s possible, and specific energy. Let’s talk about that energy.

Breaking Down the Univeral Year

Did you know that each year has a different number vibration?

That’s right! Every calendar year is associated with a single-digit number, the Univeral Year. Each number, from one to nine, connects to a set of feelings, opportunities, and energy; 2023 is a seven-year. I found this by adding the numbers of the year like this: 2+0+2+3=7.

The themes for a seven-year are wisdom, fulfillment, and truth. It’s a year of introspection and figuring out how to create the life situations you want for yourself. This year you’ll seek (and find) a direction that feels right for you.

Forging Your Path

If you are feeling overwhelmed, do not worry! With 12 abundant months ahead of you, what are the three areas (I’ll refer to them as the BIG 3) that you care about the most and will commit your time, thought, and intention to this year? Start with three questions; otherwise, you’ll get lost in the sauce.

1. What goal would you like to accomplish in the first quarter (by March 31st)?
2. What small step will you take today to start the ball rolling?
3. How will you hold yourself accountable?
