April is my jam 💃. It’s my birthday month, Spring, and that magical moment when you notice that things are changing. Have you noticed? It’s not just the budding flowers and clocks. Ace of Wands is our card this month and it’s time to get fired 🔥 up.

Aces are like rockets. They’re a jolt of electricity, a breath of fresh air, a magical gift, or an influx of positive energy. The Ace represents a new opportunity, new relationship, an epiphany, or idea. If it’s mesmerizing, dazzling, and even hypnotic, then you know we’re in Ace territory.

Wands are fire. They’re dynamic, hot, wild, and can be unpredictable. A wand is a match to light the fire or a torch to light the way. Wands represent willpower, creative potential, inspiration, and fulfillment.

The Ace of Wands is confidence, excitement, opportunity, and the spark or power needed to get something off the ground. It’s also primal masculine energy – all willpower and drive. Whatever you’re about to begin, you couldn’t have asked for better starting conditions. The Wands’ creative nature makes this card is especially powerful for anyone working in a creative field.

As I mentioned, I’m an April baby and will soon be celebrating another trip around the Sun. Having a birthday brings me back to a tradition started by my beloved late grandfather many moons ago.
