Last week, we kicked off the year with the deets on the Universal Year. Have you been giving some thought as to what the Universal 7 Year means to you? I hope so!
Each year, aside from looking at the Universal number, I also pull a tarot card that represents the entire year. And, for those who know the tarot deck, the yearly card is always a major arcana card. The major arcana cards are the most recognizable and impactful in the deck for those who don’t know. They represent life lessons, karmic influences, and archetypal themes.
The majors pack a punch and follow what is known as the Fool’s Journey. It’s like how, in the Wizard of Oz, each character finds what they are looking for, but unexpectedly. At the beginning of their journey, they know very little and are naive—like The Fool. And, in the end, they are wiser and forever changed after many ups and downs.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way (drumroll, please 🥁) let me introduce you to Justice!
Justice
Justice represents a decision, karma, truth, honesty, integrity, and the consequences of our actions. With the scales of equality in one hand and the sword of decision in the other, Justice represents precisely that, justice. She appears to tell you that you’re exactly where you should be.
Meet The Laws Of Karma
In Justice, you stand before a judge, but the reality is that both the judge and the jury are YOU. You may pretend to be something you are not, but you are only fooling yourself. This may sound harsh, so please know that Justice is also compassionate. Note her sword is double-edged, reflecting her awareness that there are two sides to every story – AND – at the same time, there are consequences to everything we do.
The Justice card is very black and white—no gray or in-between. It’s the one card in the deck that looks directly at you. She sees you. Sees right through you and tolerates no lies or finger-pointing. She gets to the heart of the matter and demands the truth. Justice is a reminder that everything happens for a reason. The Universe is always keeping things in balance. This makes sense as she is associated with the astrological sign of Libra- the cosmic peacemaker.
This is the year to resolve your inner struggles, remove what haunts you, and make important decisions about your future. With that in mind, I invite you to consider where you are on your journey and how you can bring integrity, authenticity, and truth to this year.
