Last week we discussed how the Nine of Pentacles is like a peak experience. Now that you have an insight into the vibe of this card let’s build upon what it means.
While this card looks (and is) all about abundance, enjoying life, and feeling wealthy, it’s more than just a money card. It’s a card of being and feeling wealthy. Yes, pentacles can indeed represent money—look at how much they look like bright, shiny coins. And pentacles are the suit connected to the element of earth, which is associated with being grounded, sensual, material manifestation, and being of service.
Pentacle cards lead us to the places within ourselves where we want to grow. For this reason, the pentacles add value. While you value money, you may also value non-tangible things such as integrity, reputation, honesty, or position at work.
The Nine of Pentacles also speaks of fertility and can appear as an important life goal coming to fruition, the start of something, a new beginning, such as pregnancy or something unexpected.
My grandmother was not a wealthy woman. But, if you’d asked her, she would say she was a rich woman. The reason? She considered her grandchildren her “jewels.” And she was beloved by all of us. This is the message of the pentacles.
Nine is the number of attainment. Reach out and grab what is valuable to you. Treat it like your own private, lush, abundant, grape-filled garden. This is the key to an abundant life.
