We kicked off April riding the wave of Aries season, including the new moon energy. Weaving in the tarot is a good idea for further insight and reinforcement. And by using the energy of the month and the vision of the tarot, a more transparent message comes into view.
A Quick Review
April begins in Aries season. Aries is about taking charge, doing its own thing, and not asking for permission. Aries can also be passionate and impulsive and, if not held in check, may bring a little leap before they look type energy to any situation.
This energy arrived at the same time as spring arrives on the scene and the first Aries new moon (there are two this season) on March 21st.
The first new moon landed at the start of the astrological year and was about taking risks, moving past obstacles, and finding the courage to start.
The second new moon in Aries arrives later this week on April 20th and is also a solar eclipse. Use the arrival of this moon for themes of new beginnings, taking risks, and establishing independence. By the time this new moon shows up, you may have gone through an entire lifetime of events (kidding, not kidding).
Chocolatey Goodness
The tarot card for April is the Four of Swords. The meaning of Four of Swords is often expressed through the lens of return from some challenge or battle. The Four of Swords invites you into meditation, stillness, perspective, and rest. It calls for you to slow down, retreat and connect to your deeper self.
Woven together, the message is: When you add together all the peanut buttery, chocolate goodness we have happening this month with the double dose of the new moon, Aries season, and the Four of Swords, everything blends and strikes the perfect balance between the looking before you leap aspect you may find yourself navigating and the stop and take a moment to gain a little perspective.
Separately, each of these aspects may seem at odds with the other. Still, right now, we get this beautiful blend that combines everything seamlessly to create this aura that everything will happen just as it is supposed to. Unlike Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup creation, this is no happy accident—it is perfectly crafted.
