This time of year always gives me a thrill. I feel as though I am finally being rewarded for all of the cold weather and short (daylight wise) days that I have had to endure. Summer is almost upon us, and I have to say it feels great!
I want to share some good news in the stars and also talk about the lovely Ace of Cups.
FIrst, let’s talk about the next big astrological influence that is coming our way this summer (July 8th-27th). It is called a Grand Trine. In essence, 3 planets, Saturn, Neptune and Jupiter, will be lining up within 120 degrees of each other, forming a large triangle, also known as a Grand Trine. The interesting part about this trine is that all of these planets will be in water signs. Water signs rule our emotions, passions, and spiritual connections. Neptune in Pisces will stoke our fires of creativity. Saturn is currently in sexy Scorpio which addresses patience, our money and investments. Additionally, Jupiter will enter Cancer which brings in family, love and real estate opportunities. A water sign Grand Trine is one that is highly intuitive and full of emotion and feelings.
Speaking of emotion and feelings . . . cue the Ace of Cups! What a gorgeous golden cup it is. A hand extends itself, offering its abundance. It is time to raise your glass, time for a toast, did you bring the wine?
The Ace of Cups represents new beginnings, windows of opportunity, creative expression, generosity, compassion, the birth or rebirth of something and possibly fertility. The cup (also known as a chalice) is a feminine symbol and the dove (above the cup) brings life to the vessel. The cups may also indicate developing a stronger sense of intuition. Or, if speaking about the Ace in terms of your career, a new job or opportunity may arise that gives you great joy and fulfillment in your work. It may also suggest marriage, engagement or pregnancy. You would want to look to the surrounding cards for more information.
The Ace of Cups is the element of water. The same element that rules Pisces, Scorpio and Cancer. The same element that will rule the Grand Trine this summer. So, go grab your swimsuit, the water looks great, let’s jump in!
Some questions to think about: Where is the Ace of Cups showing up in my life? What window of opportunity is opening for me? What should I be paying attention to right now? What real and important changes do I want (or need) to make in my life? What action can I take that will bring me greater personal happiness?
