To say it has been a wild ride this past week would be a major understatement! Is it me or does it seem like everything is coming to a head? The election is set to wind down in the coming week, Mercury is set to turn retrograde *on* election day, and the NY Metro area was just hit with one of the worst Hurricane/Noreaster storms of the past century. It makes me want to look up to see if the sky is falling!
As a tarot practitioner (and as a human being with a pulse) it is my instinct to give back, to find a way to reach out and help those individuals out there who are looking for a little extra guidance, ‘a way to navigate the storm’ so to speak.
For the month of November I am running a special tarot reading offer. Let’s spend 30 minutes having a ‘tune up’ session. We can discuss whatever is going on with you personally or if you just feel like you want to hear what the tarot deck has to tell you right now, we can start there.

Of course, I can’t sign off without giving you a little peek at what the tarot has to tell me today, about where we are right now. The card I pulled when asking for some direction and guidance was . . . (drumroll please) . . . The Emperor!
How surprising that when life challenges us the most, the card with the most brilliant display of strength, power, control and passion shows up.
Let’s take a quick look at this card. If you look at the picture, you see underneath all of his royal garb, my beloved Emperor is wearing armor. He did not just show up yesterday and get the royal crown. No, he had to work for it. He fought tooth and nail for what he wanted, and low and behold, in the end he found himself on top.
I think we can all take a page from the Emperor’s handbook.
Life can be challenging. Curve balls *will* be sent our way.
It is how we handle these situations and how we learn and grow from the inside that will ultimately make us the true warrior we are meant to be. So, step up, with your armor on, and prepare to take on the world. I can feel the brightness of your star growing as you read.
