Now that you’ve seen the wild wallpaper of my childhood, we’ve bonded. Isn’t it powerful to share our stories? Last week, we learned that the essence of the Six of Cups is comfort. It’s also about reflection, hindsight, memories, beliefs, and examining the past to apply what you’ve learned to help shape your present and future.
If the tarot deck represents the stories of our lives, it’s the story’s progression from the ace to the ten in each suit that you find the lessons and knowledge that keep moving you forward. With this knowledge, you can recenter yourself and figure out what’s important to you on a deeper level.
Which brings us to a question: What is important right now? Arriving at the Six of Cups, you step out of past regrets, leaving the fear of what others think and say about us behind and embracing a warmer and more forgiving approach.
My Saturn Return
Years ago, during what I now know was my Saturn return, it felt like everything in my life was changing and spinning out of control. For reasons I can no longer recall, a close friendship ended in a way that felt irreparable. The loss ran deep. While I missed my dear friend and our connection, fear kept me from extending an olive branch—until it didn’t. The result was quick. Both of us showed up with open hearts and full of forgiveness. And now, the trust and love are there like it never happened.
Six of Cups is trust and forgiveness in partnerships, relationships, and within the family. Reunions, new understanding, alternate viewpoints, and reconciliation are now possible. What role has forgiveness played in your life, in the past or lately? How have you changed/grown from it?
Now is a time to give more freely and without any strings attached. Let your inner light shine ✨, and find a new way to flow and connect with those around you who personify that warm feeling you get upon returning home or like your favorite comfort food–mac & cheese, anyone?
Until the next time,
Ever upward!
