I have returned from the Tarot Readers Studio, an amazing weekend full of teaching new ideas, sharing information and trying some very cool new techniques to add to my own tarot readings.
As I went through the weekend I was looking for something to bring back for you as well.
In one very lively and interesting round table discussion, the dynamic and witty discussion leader put out to all of us the question: “How do you know that you know what you know?”
Asking us, what tools we use, what information is necessary for us to have/know as we predict, give guidance and shine a path for our clients?
What are the skills you use in your day to day that give you the information that you need to make choices and decisions? I have heard about gut feelings and signs from the universe, but, how do you *know*?
Colors, dreams, timing, images, astrological affiliations and meanings, signs, noticing coincidences or themes and trusting yourself are all great places to start.
The color of today is GREEN.
Green is the color of the season of Spring. It is the color of life, renewal and nature. The color green is associated with freshness, growth, fertility and the environment.
Other traditional associations of the color green are money, finances, ambition, greed, and jealousy. We have all heard the expression “green with envy”.
Green has healing power, and research has shown it to be the most relaxing and restful color for the human eye to view.
Along with its association with renewal, growth and hope is the flip side, the possibility of a lack of understanding and a need for growth.
Green can be soothing, relaxing and youthful. But, too much green in your life can make you feel lazy, slow and lethargic. Interestingly, not enough green can make you feel apathetic and fearful of rejection. Finding a balance is also part of the equation.
The seven of wands shows the main figure in the card cloaked in a green tunic while also standing on a green patch of land. He is the Lord of Valor. He is taking a stand. He is willing to fight for what he wants and looking to make changes in the world.
Did you notice something off about his footwear? He is wearing two different shoes. This indicates uneven footing or lacking clarity of where he stands and in figuring out what he wants.
Circling back to the concept of knowing what you know, how much stronger could/would the seven of wands’ position be if he had firmer footing?
Questions: Where is green showing up for you in your life? How and where are you looking to grow? Where do you need to wave the white flag and call for a truce? What ideas are you working on right now to grow your business? How can you give yourself a green light? Are you wearing the right shoes?
As always I welcome your email, thoughts and comments.
If you are interested in looking at what is sprouting up for you, I am excited to put my new tools to work!
Until the next time . . . .
