OK, maybe I am a little biased because my birthday is in April. And, the annual Readers Studio tarot conference – a tarot reader’s paradise – is this weekend. Did I mention I leave today?! I can’t wait to bring you back some juicy nuggets!
When I first started thinking about this post, my focus had been on how I was noticing a larger incidence of personal celebration. People are no longer waiting for someone to throw them a party. They are throwing caution to the wind and throwing that party themselves. I love it.
While attending and entertaining at these events, I noticed the selfless way that friends, colleagues and the sisterhood that surround the celebrant are able to put this person center stage. They truly bring their love, admiration, warmth and endearment and made the day super special.
In my own life, I am a participant in a women’s group where the goal is to support, assist and encourage advancement in the realm of career, business and personal growth. This group is unusual in the way that the overall energy is sincere, straight forward and looking to build bridges. Not the selfish, “what about me?!” that one might expect. It is so refreshing!
There is a card in the tarot deck that truly speaks to this. This card has been on my mind and also in my readings at so many of these events. The Three of Cups. It literally means a group of people have come together to focus on a common emotional goal. There is a sense of commonality, and can be indicative of a time that you may become more socially and community minded.
The Three of Cups is a celebration, success, abundance and fulfillment. It is about reaping rewards. It is a card of happiness and about the rewards we are given for a job well done.
The Three of Cups can be the early stages of falling in love and/or the “seed of life”. The arrival of this card may indicate a marriage proposal, wedding, pregnancy or a new baby, birthday, anniversary, or family reunion.
The Three of Cups is acceptance of oneself and/or of others.
The image in the card shows three lovely young maidens with three overflowing cups, celebrating. Their arms reach out to each other, showing the connection they have. In many settings, women are the glue that nurture and create the bonds that hold people together.
As I prepare to dance out the door to join in the tarot celebrations this weekend, I ask of you: How can you bring more joy into your life? How can you be more present and relaxed socially? Who has nurtured you or who/what needs nurturing at this time? Who/what is welcoming you with open arms?
I wish you joy, abundance and the freedom to be your wonderful, loving self.
I am available for individual readings, parties and events.
I love hearing from old clients and new. You can find me here.
