Hello and happy mid-March!
Is it me, or does it feel like we have already had a full month’s worth of events, issues and activities in the time it has taken us to get only half way through?
So many of the readings and much of the energy I have been working with lately has been about figuring out what is coming next. Things have been challenging, unclear and downright stressful.
I have noticed lately that when clients and guests sit down with me, it is often with a look that translates to me as, “please be kind”. Unsure of what I might share with them.
So, when I sat down to select a card for some insight, I too asked my deck to be kind. And, it was. . . . as you see, the uplifting 9 of cups.
Just one look at this confident, happy man you can almost feel his delight emanating from the card. This man enjoys both material and spiritual success and he represents the accomplishment of our deepest desires. His red hat and socks reflect the effort and passion he has poured into his work on the way to his success. The feathers in his red cap notate his high ideals and intelligence. The blue tablecloth behind him flows like water from a waterfall, showing how his cup runneth over. And, lastly, the card is surrounded by a vibrant yellow which indicates clarity, creativity, cheer and all around contentment.
This card has often be labeled the “wish card” of the tarot deck, as in, whatever you wish for can be yours. Maybe so. But, I would like to explore a different angle. One of fully knowing our value. This card has a very positive energy to it, which indicates that you should be focusing on what you are looking to bring into your life, worries are being diminished as new plans materialize. The road to success is not always direct. All the more reason it is important to know our strengths and where we shine.
Using your intelligence, charm and business savvy to show and know you have what it takes to succeed. Nine’s are about attainment, completion and/or reflection.
Cups are the suit of emotions, feelings and creativity. The nine of cups often indicates an an emotionally fulfilling situation in the realm of the heart. It shows that joy and happiness are within your grasp.
And, if your success and happiness has already arrived, be gracious, show gratitude and give back when possible.
Here are some questions to consider: Are you clear on what your true desire is right now? What feather in your cap might you put to good use? What should you be celebrating right now? What do you wish for?
Take your cup and fill it up. Or, better yet, let it overflow.
I am available for private tarot readings on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, or if you live out of town, I do Skype and/or phone readings. Contact me at dina@dinaberrin.com if you are interested.
Until the next time . . .
