Today we will look at the color RED.
Red is associated with danger, power, strength, war, energy and determination. It is also linked to desire, passion and love.
Red is energizing and action oriented. It is passionate and strong. Red embodies a pioneering energy with a spirit of leadership, ambition and tenacity. It indicates movement. Red is passion, sexual attraction and lust. Enduring love is most often expressed by the color pink, and we all know the difference (in both the color and the feelings attached).
As with most things, there are both positive and negative values associated with red. We have spoken already of some positive qualities, let’s try the flipside. Red can be considered aggressive, angry, domineering, quick tempered, brutal, fearful, rebellious. intolerant, and even violent at times.
The expressions “seeing red” (angry), “red flag” (danger) and “caught red handed” (guilty or deceitful) are all derived from these meanings as well.
Surrounding yourself with too much red can be irritating or bring on anger quickly. But not enough red can bring on cautious, manipulative or fearful feelings.
The Magician, cloaked in his red robe is the quintessential active, male overachiever. Look at the power and confidence he exudes in his stance and aura! He is powerful. This guy does not doubt himself, not for one second. He is charming, intelligent, creative, intuitive and decisive.
When the Magician appears in a reading there is meaning and direction. Anything and everything is possible. Manifestation. Use your will, courage and positive attitude to create the outcome that you desire.
Also, be aware, the Magician has a BIG ego. When not cautious, he can be experienced as unreliable, a poor communicator, manipulative and as someone who may abuse his power. He may also lack motivation and will power, maybe riding on his reputation or prior work.
If you were dating the Magician, he might be that hot guy who shows up in a flashy red sports car ready to take you out for a wild night on the town. To paint the town red – wink, wink. He is a bit of a player. He is likely not interested in a long term thing, just some fun for the right now. Good to know as you ease into those plush leather seats!
Put the power of the color red and the ever resourceful Magician to work in your life. The important goals and milestones you envision for your life are possible. All you need to do is take action. The red carpet awaits, are you ready?
Questions to consider: What action can I take to move me into a better position? Where do I need to take a leadership role? Where am I inspired? Am I being too impulsive? Do I need to release my anger at someone/something? What no longer excites me and needs to be eliminated from my life? Where can I add some red and some POP to my wardrobe?
