If you’ve been following this month’s series on the Strength card, you know that Strength is about developing the inner strength needed to temper your impulsive animal instinct with your gentler intuitive side. If you missed the other blogs, I’ve included the links at the end of this post. Let’s get on with Strengthen Your Intuition, Strengthen Your Courage.
Last week, we talked about why this card is relevant now and why it’s important to return to your roots and discover where courage and heart live within you. Whatever issue you face, the Strength card reminds you that you can handle it with a firm but gentle touch. Let’s talk about how to make that happen!
Tarot Coach Approach
Working intuitively with tarot cards using my tarot coach approach is an excellent way to sharpen your skills, increase your intuition, and discover your answers. Once you get the hang of how it works, you can use it repeatedly to help navigate your way through any of life’s dilemmas. I’ll walk you through it now—all you need do is come along for the ride!
Step 1
Ask a question about strength, such as “where do I need to develop a greater sense of strength in my life?”
Step 2
Let your eyes sweep over the Strength card and jot down the image you’re most drawn to. Pick anything—the lion’s mane, the infinity sign, the crown of flowers around the woman’s head, you name it. Let’s say you write down the flowery wreath.
Step 3
What color catches your eye? Maybe it’s the lion’s golden orange coat, the flower garlands’ green leaves, or the woman’s white dress. I’m going with the warm glow of the lion’s coat, which I’ll call sunset orange!
Step 4
Describe the overall vibe you get from this card. Hmmm… I’d say it’s the faith I feel from looking at the woman’s gentle compassion and her trust that she’s got what it takes to tame that lion! So, I’ll write down faith.
Putting It All Together
Flowery wreath: Wreaths, in the form of a circle, often symbolize completion and infinity. They’re also a symbol of victory over what no longer serves you.
Sunset orange: The color of the sky as the brightness of the midday sun begins to deepen into a slightly darker tone. It’s the peacefulness of the evening as the heat fades and a cool breeze rustles the trees.
Faith: The unwavering notion that no matter what, everything will turn out all right in the end. The belief that you will not only survive but thrive!
What do we get when we put it all together to answer the question, “where do I need to develop a greater sense of strength in my life?”
Answer 👉 Victory over letting go of what no longer serves me lies in the peaceful glow of evening’s light and reminds me that the true strength to accomplish my goals comes from my inner sense of faith—in myself!
Now, what could be better than that? Use your choices to determine the answer to the question, and remember, there’s only one rule—let your intuition rule!
