I am offering an 8 class introductory series into the world of tarot.
We will dive right into the foundation of the tarot. We will interpret the cards, talk about colors, numbers, and various symbols and their meanings. Upon completion, you will know the basics of card interpretation and be able to give yourself or a friend a reading.
A breakdown of what we will focus on each class:
Class 1: Intro to tarot, breakdown of deck and how it works. Major Arcana. Birth cards calculations and readings.
Class 2: Major Arcana. Posture. Read cards using Majors, posture.
Class 3: Cups. Color in cards for determining energy and feeling. Readings done w Cups based on color, posture and card meaning.
Class 4: Pentacles. Numbers and meaning. Readings.
Class 5: Swords. Clothing and building structures in the cards. Practice reading.
Class 6: Wands. Objects and modes of transportation in cards. Learn new card spread and positions, practice reading.
Class 7: Court. Activities and gestures in the cards. Readings as group.
Class 8: Recap of deck including Q/A. Liquids and celestial bodies in the cards. Dina lead reading, class participates.
There is limited space available for this class. Early bird registration by September 9th $350, after September 9th $375.
Class fee includes 8 classes and email support from Dina.
Classes to be held on Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:30 starting September 11th. Class dates are: September 11th and 25th, October 9th and 23rd, November 6th and 20th, December 4th and 18th.
All students are expected to bring a Universal Waite tarot deck, or, for an addition $18, can purchase one along with the class.
