Hello Warrior, and welcome to The Chariot, where victory and success are possible once you become one with the hard work, tenacity, determination, self-control, discipline, and determination it takes to get there. Yes, there is a chance this month will be a wild ride 🎢 filled with learning opportunities, joy, adversity, purpose, and direction. And, who better than you are up for the job?
The Number Seven
The card’s number, Seven, is associated with tests and advancement. Seven’s are a number of initiation and action. They represent challenges and obstacles that must be overcome for aims and goals to be achieved. What does that mean for you?
The Chariot comes across as strong, driven, and ambitious. It’s a masculine card that exudes power, tenacity, and mastery. He will not give up for ANY reason. So, this is where you find yourself: The reins are in your hands. Your stance is strong, you are courageous, and you keep the momentum going. You do not doubt yourself or your abilities.
What will you do with this opportunity?
Finish What You Started
An essential message of The Chariot is to finish what you have started. Complete the journey. Fulfill your commitments. Whether it’s your career, a new skill, a difficulty or obstacle in your life, your challenge (should you choose to accept it) is not to leave anything unfinished or commit to anything you are unable to see through to completion. This may sound like a lot this month – especially because things have been a bit emotional. Right?
Cancer Astrological Sign
Interestingly, this intense and ambitious card is associated with the astrological sign of Cancer (we are in Cancer beginning on June 20th). Cancer can be emotional, nurturing, intuitive, and gentle. It can also be tenacious, deeply imaginative, and tremendously persuasive. Like all signs, it has a lower vibration, which shows up as insecurity, manipulation, and moodiness.
Cancer, the sign of the crab, has a tough outer shell to protect its softer side. It can show up in the Chariot as a mask or facade that you hide behind to camouflage your vulnerability.
If Cancer is emotional and the Chariot is about control, it’s possible that for your relationship to thrive, you may need to control your emotions. Things may not be as they appear. The Chariot can stand for a disciplined, confident man who keeps his emotions hidden or under control. It may take some time to create a level of trust or to get closer to him.
Factor all of these traits into the Chariot, and you may find that appearance can be deceiving.
Do I need to be strong and determined, or emotional and supportive? Yes.

Balance
Another element of the Chariot card is duality, which shows up as the black and white sphinxes front and center in the card. This brings in the theme of balance. Balance of the head and heart, the masculine and the feminine, and even of the Chariot itself sitting half on land half on water.
Duality is something that many of us are coping with right now in our day-to-day. The pull between work and home responsibilities, the desire to be outside when our logical minds worry if that is a safe choice, and on a larger scale, wanting to get back to the business of living instead of feeling like life has pressed the ‘pause’ button. In order to keep moving, control is needed. You want to take control – or, for your sanity – you NEED to take control. You are in this feeling, and you are figuring it out. This is the Chariot.
I offer you the opportunity to take a walk in the sunshine, to go outside and get some fresh air (while wearing a mask and social distancing), to find a fun and engaging book to lose yourself in, or to learn something new.
