Now that you’re now familiar with the Two of Pentacles theme of balance and the importance of flexibility within this card, you know that what’s most important is developing the ability to juggle a few things at the same time without coming apart at the seams.
The Name of the Game
The Two of Pentacles is an actual picture of what a chaotic life can feel or look like while, at the same time, you’re expected to carry on as usual. Keeping your life flowing smoothly is the name of the game. The Two of Pentacles encourages you to manage your time wisely and delegate whenever possible. It reminds you that you are fully capable of accomplishing whatever you set your mind to. How? By perseverance and adaptability.
Yes, this guy is doing a great job multitasking—but keep in mind there’s a thin line between this juggling act and losing control. It’s been said that life is a balancing act. What’s life like when you juggle too many responsibilities or have competing priorities?
This delicate balancing act revolves around taking risks while taking full advantage of opportunities when they present themselves. Add in a little optimism and enthusiasm to balance out any anxieties about financial issues, and you have an excellent recipe for new approaches and, ultimately, change.
Divide your energy, time, attention, and resources wisely, and you’ll find there’s magic in being able to spread your focus but not drop one ball while you concentrate on another.
Achievable Dreams
How do you do this? Try using my tarot coach approach! This exercise can take you a long way toward pushing yourself outside your comfort zone to grow and truly pursue a life that aligns with your achievable dreams:
- Peruse the Two of Pentacles and jot down the image in the card to which you’re most drawn
- Next, do the same with which color jumps out at you most
- Finally, define what feelings this card elicits in you—what kind of vibe do you get?
As you consider which image, color, and emotion you most resonate with, try putting them together in a sentence.
For example, maybe the large infinity loop catches your attention the most. And the vibrant red color of the clownish hat worn by the man speaks loudest. Finally, perhaps this card makes you feel like you need to be more rooted, with two feet on the ground.
Ground Yourself
Hmm… life is moving quickly, so how can you ground yourself? Maybe you’re simply unsure of your path forward, and your gut tells you to trust your intuition. Like a rarely used muscle, the more you exercise calling on your intuition, the closer you’ll find real answers that balance your rational mind with the direct knowing your intuitive mind possesses.
At the same time, realize you’re still learning and that, instead of trying to conquer what’s not under your control, you can trust that the universe always has your back.
