Last week, we discovered that the Two of Pentacles infers change and that change may require you to find a healthier balance in your life. (You can check out last week’s post here.) Now let’s dive deeper into Two of Pentacles to learn how to find balance in the midst of change.
It’s All About Decisions
Pentacles represent the element of earth. Pentacles out in the world signify money, finances, and the material side of life. The number two, aside from meaning balance, is about decision-making. Combined, the Two of Pentacles can hint at potential financial challenges and/or balance your need for security with your finances. In other words, decision-making about finances.
This news is not meant to worry you. Know that this card also symbolizes good times, high energy, and great vitality. And, because the two is a low-numbered card, understand that you’re at the very beginning of a situation. Even so, the Two of Pentacles is not a passive card. It shows life’s constant motion and is a reminder to use your intuitive awareness to maintain your balance.
It’s appearing now to tell you that life has both ups and downs, and by keeping all your ducks in a row, you can reduce the overall stress and overwhelm that comes with feeling bogged down by responsibilities and commitments.
Get Out of The Way
Last week, I mentioned that the infinity loop balancing the two pentacles is slack rather than taut. That’s because the young man interferes with it rather than allowing it to balance itself naturally. Did you know that once you get the rhythm of juggling, the number of objects does not matter? This card says that if you concentrate too hard on counting the balls you have in the air, you’ll keep dropping them. The message is to get your hands out of the way, have faith, and let the universe do its job.
The green infinity loop represents balance, health, change, and growth. The man’s green shoes connect you to the earth, while his red leggings reinforce your passion, motivation, energy, courage, and self-awareness. His red hat symbolizes intuition (that instinctive feeling rather than conscious reasoning). Also, its clownish look reminds you to keep your ego in check and to maintain a sense of humor as you strive to keep juggling all the balls at the same time.
This card reminds you to take a methodical yet intuitive approach to learn how to juggle several different things in your life simultaneously. If you try to keep track of all the balls you have in the air at once, you’ll keep dropping them.
Most of us learn by doing, so it’s practicing until you get it right that counts most. All it takes is awareness. The Two of Pentacles lets you know you can juggle the demands put upon you. You may even enjoy the moments of challenge and the learning that comes with it.
For greater personal meaning about why this card’s showing up for you now, you might ask yourself the following:
- What am I learning as I juggle my way through life?
- How do I get in the way of allowing the universe to do its thing?
- How might I benefit by taking a step back and allowing the universe to balance what’s most important?
Here’s a quick refresher on the Two of Pentacles:
Join me next week when I share how to accomplish whatever you set your mind to. In the meantime, asking for a friend, how are your juggling skills?
Ever upward!
