When you’re struggling with a difficult decision, sitting on a metaphorical fence, realizing it’s time to weigh out the pros and cons, or are simply feeling that you’re at an impasse, you are in the Two of Swords.
It is time to come face to face with your fears. 😱
Two in the tarot is about balance, choices, duality, negotiation, cooperation – masculine/feminine, yin/yang, etc. Opposing forces are at play, and as a result, very often it’s an internal struggle as you attempt to find clarity and understanding.
The Suit of Swords is associated with the element of Air (we are currently in the air sign of Aquarius) and it represents the intellect, power, conflict, decision, rationality, and communication.
Two of Swords is peace, impartiality, compromise, making a decision, and looking within. It can represent being caught in the middle of an argument and trying to mediate between the two conflicting parties. Furthermore, it is also blocking emotions, being in denial, an unwillingness to see the truth, and blindness.
Because this can show up for you in a variety of ways, let’s take a look at three:
Your Career
In Career, you may be blind to corruption or some sort of deception happening in your office, or maybe you are choosing to turn a blind eye?
Your Relationships
In Love, your relationship may be at a crossroads, or you are feeling stuck. Likewise, you may be avoiding letting someone know how you truly feel about them for fear of rejection.
Your Health
In Health, blocked or unexpressed emotions may be at the heart of health issues or discomfort you’re feeling. As a result, holding on to anxiety or resentment can affect the heart chakra and lead to physical problems. Spiritually, your path is not clear for you right now. Balance is the key. Tune out the external noise and turn inward and ultimately, you will find your wisdom.

Questions to consider:
❓ How can you take a broader view of the situation?
❓ What obstacles are in your way?
❓ Who or what have you turned your back on?
❓ What are you refusing to look at?
❓ What is clear?
Take a moment to examine the details:
☑️ Consider your level of awareness.
☑️ Listen to your intuition.
☑️ Take both sides of the story into consideration.
☑️ Embrace paradox – don’t look for “right” or “wrong.”
The lesson of the Two of Swords is that building walls are not the answer. To find peace and fulfillment, we must stay open.
