For some, the modern-day magician is described as a cheap form of entertainment. But for most of history, magic has been considered to be as powerful as science. The Magician is no imposter. He’s a chemist, visionary, and manifestation master.
The Magician is the card of talent and personal power. He’s the prime example of the masculine principle and is the ultimate achiever. Standing proud and tall, he is unique, skilled, and self-aware. He’s charming, witty, confident, resourceful, and focused.
The Magician is number one – both in his head and in the tarot deck – and stands fully in his power with his tools laid out in front of him, ready to manifest something big. He knows what he’s doing.
His job is to teach, and he teaches the important art of communication, specifically about language, speech, and writing.
He is full of intentions, ideas, inspirations, and energy, and he demands that you do something with yours. He asks you to tap into his energy and understand that you are a powerful person and have great potential and limitless possibilities.
Success Is Within Your Reach
Success is within your grasp, but there are a few things to keep in mind. First, ideas are still forming; you are nowhere near the completion stage. Second, you must know what you’re doing and why. Understand what motivates you, and be clear about your intentions. Focus on your goals and use the resources that are available to you. Do not rush. Form a realistic working plan, and follow it.
The Magician’s message is that you have all of the skills you need to achieve and use them to your advantage. He makes things happen, the same as you, so apply yourself.
When reversed, the Magician shows up as unfocused, lacking resources, or an inability to manifest. You may feel weak, short on willpower, or are happy to lay responsibility at someone else’s feet. So now might be an excellent time to turn your attention elsewhere, like a new direction, or to accept the limitations of your power. Positive results will come when you are ready to focus on what you want and make a change.

As I sat down to write this week, I thought about what learning is here for me. What is The Magician teaching me this month? My answer came in the form of one of his core traits: acting consciously. I interpret this as being more intentional about what I am doing and why. While I admit, this is not something entirely new; it is something that I’ve been more aware of for the past year-plus. I invite you to do the same. Would you like to explore how you can do this? Please email me at dina@dinaberrin.com to schedule a call and discover how working together can make this happen. Here’s what a current client has to say about working with me doing regular tarot and coaching work:
“Thank you, setting boundaries really hit home with me, and I think you will be a key for my success this year. I can only imagine where I will be with your guidance. I’m so grateful.” –Alex
Use your talents and make what’s possible real. Focus on your goal, and set aside distractions. Believe in yourself, and don’t be afraid to act. You Are Your Own Magician.
