Lately, I’ve been exploring the concept of saying yes. Meaning, when an opportunity arises to go somewhere new, try something different, learn something cool or simply stretch out of my comfort zone, whenever possible, I try to say yes.
What have I learned? Saying yes is magical! People are generous, kind, creative, open, interesting, intelligent, curious, wonderful, and surprising.
Just last week, in one of my YES adventures, I found myself in the VIP dining room at the Metropolitan Museum (MET). Who even knew there was a VIP dining room at the MET?! Not only did I have an awesome meal with some interesting new friends, but I also got to see the amazing CAMP exhibit. I LOVED it!
What if we all started saying yes?
Our card this month, The Six of Pentacles, is about generosity, sharing, and assistance.
SIX OF PENTACLES
In the tarot, the number six means love, balance, peace, harmony, cooperation, reciprocation, and reconciliation. Pentacles are things we value that are tangible, as well as, skills, security, and finances.
The Six of Pentacles tells of giving and receiving, implies charitable giving and the need to ‘give back’ to society. It says assistance will come when it is most needed. It may manifest as a sudden win, a windfall, an inheritance, a piece of crucial information or helpful advice that will benefit you in the future. It is a blessing, gift or benefit that will meet your most important needs. It’s a beautiful message, and yet, not the end.
The Six of Pentacles is a complex card, one of extremes and opposites. It asks you to take a closer look at what it means to have (or have not) in both material and immaterial way. How does the relationship change if you are the one in possession of money, power, knowledge or love as opposed to the one who is not? Click here to learn more about this multi-layered card:
In a reading, the Six of Pentacles may point to a relationship that is not one of equals or where some things are given and others are held back. Life is not simple. Fortunes change. Any help offered or received should come with no strings attached. Money, like karma, is an energy and works best when circulated.
The Pentacles are the most resourceful suit in the tarot and pride themselves on their ingenuity, confidence, ability to get things done and independence. The universe is abundant and generous. Giving is about bringing joy. The Six of Pentacles brings the opportunity to say yes. It has been said that it is better to give than to receive. How can you, in the spirit of generosity, add value to someone’s life?
What are you saying yes to today?
FIRST STEPS. You know what they say… the first step is the hardest. Maybe that’s because you’re not sure which direction to go in. Has it been a while since your last tarot reading? Or, (the horror), have you not had your first reading? How about we start where you are? Let’s do this together.
I am available for private readings, small gatherings, fun parties, events and wherever anyone is looking to light things up and make them more memorable. Email me now to find out more.
It’s never too late to say YES to yourself.
Until soon… Dina
